Looking to integrate ShareProgress' analytics with Convio? Here's how.

If you already use Convio's reports and analytics, you may be interested in using ShareProgress to find out which supporters were brought in by ShareProgress sharing tools.
ShareProgress integrates with Convio's source codes to help you evaluate the effectiveness of your digital program. Convio tracking works through URLS, and ShareProgress can automatically add these codes to every page you create.

First, visit your account settings page. Under Advanced Settings find the option labeled "Customize URL share source tracking parameters" and check that box.

Set the URL source parameter name to s_src.
In the following field you can set the source codes for new supporting coming in from Facebook, Twitter, Email and other sharing.

This will attach source codes for any users who are referred through a ShareProgress action in your Convio database.

Whether you take these steps or not, you can always still enjoy all of ShareProgress' analytics to find out how many people are being brought in from social sharing.

There is a known bug with Convio where links with ?pagename=homepage will auto-refresh and before data for viral visits and viral actions can be recorded.

Instead of using ?pagename=homepage, use cmd=display&page=UserAction.
